Armagh's Audrey Burney has her dogs in fine fettle and it was no surprise to see the daughter of esteemed trainer John Pearson adding to her success with a Drumbo Park double on Saturday night.

Ballyshane Magic followed up his second from the previous week by battling on bravely for his fourth win in 19 races, clocking 29.05 on a surface rated .20 slow for 525 races and .10 spots back for sprints.

Going off at generous odds of 4/1, the black dog was involved in a ding-dong tussle with Footfield Flash, getting the better of the later by a head for a 28.85 run. Flash led up and into the back-straight but there was nothing between the pair and that how it remained on the run-in where Flash gave Magic a solid thump as they came close together. They flashed over the line together, Ballyshane taking the win.

Earlier, Audrey was on the ball with Tromora Cool who took advantage of the red box to land her first Drumbo win. Crowded out last time, she clearly benefited from that outing and was never headed in this contest. Nicely out, she led round from Meadows Lass and Talking Tactics and held Lass by a length and a half in 29.31 (.20 slow).
