Pickie's Peter Campbell believes his team have the artillery to shrug off the challenge of Portrush in tomorrow's IBA Senior Cup tie -- but he'll not be there to enjoy it.

Campbell is one of three players unable to make the trip to Ramore Head. However, he is still tipping the Co Down boys to book a third round slot.

"We would like to be going there with a full strength team," he said.

"But we are working off a panel of 19 or 20 players, so we'll not be weakened as such.

"It's a difficult place to go, there is no doubt about that. And, the green is always tricky to handle. There will be no shortage of confidence in our camp."

Campbell misses out due to a pre-arranged family function, while Ryan Cavan and Gareth Caughey have other commitments.

"Portrush are always difficult to beat on their home green. They've got the likes of Ian McClure, Gary McCloy and Simon Colvin in their ranks, but we have confidence in our own ability. I've no doubt the boys can go up there and get the result we need to keep our cup dream alive."

Meanwhile, Old Bleach put their title on the line when they visit Belmont in what is billed as the tie of the round.

The Randalstown side may have lifted the trophy for the first time last season, but their opponents are steeped in cup tradition being the only club to have won the famous piece of silverware on five successive seasons.

Something must give when the PGL giants go head-to-head at Kincora Avenue.
