Seconds out thanks to Wonder run by Annas

Drumbo Park witnessed a cracking display from Annas Wonder who ended a trio of seconds with a brilliant victory in the £350 sprint final over the weekend.

Owned by Newtownabbey's Robert Carson, the black dog took his revenge in no uncertain terms on the favourite Meadows Raheen following defeat in the semi-finals.

From trap five, Annas flashed out while Raheem missed the kick before showing speed up the inside with Ulster Gent.

Annas came home nine lengths clear of Raheem with Headforthestars half a length further back in third, the winner clocking a very decent 18.17 secs.

Consistency is proving to be Hidden Vic's forte at present. The black dog has really got his act together, landing a hat-trick in successive weeks for Belfast owner-trainer Terry Rafferty.

Hidden clocked 29.00 secs, the same time as in the previous week after digging deep for his latest victory.
