Video: London Marathon 2015 Runner surprises his girlfriend with a marriage proposal
Marathon runner Jordan Meikle took a break during Sunday's gruelling 26.2-mile run to get down on one knee.
Stopping near Canary Wharf, Jordan got stretched for a while before turning to his girlfriend, Kayleigh Harris, and getting down on one knee.
He then produced an engagement ring from his shorts and popped the question.
His shocked girlfriend said yes.
The footage was posted online shortly after by Kayleigh's father, Mark, who wrote: "Run the marathon and then propose. What a nutter."
Jordan and Kayleigh's engagement wasn't the only love story at this year's London Marathon, with Paul Elliott and Laura Harvey stopping at the half-way point of the course at St Katharine's Docks to tie the knot in front of 80 guests.
The newlyweds from South London then ran the second-half of the race as husband and wife.
