Warren eyes title bid for McCloskey

Promotor Frank Warren has a summer British title fight in his sights for Paul McCloskey.

Unbeaten light-welterweight prospect McCloskey returns to the ring tomorrow night at the ExCel Arena in London as part of the supporting bill to the heavyweight clash between Danny Williams and Audley Harrison.

McCloskey's career may have been slow burning up to this point but Warren believes that he can deliver a meeting with British light-welterweight champion Lennie Daws.

"I will do everything I can to deliver a British title fight for McCloskey," said Warren.

"He's a good kid and I've been impressed with him so let's hope he can keep winning and we'll do the fight."

Slick moving McCloskey should continue his unbeaten record with victory over Silence Saheed.
