Paul Deegan looks to have unearthed a smart sort in Bobbi Grace, who flew home to land the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden at Navan.
Leigh Roche was happy to get a tow into the race on the 9/4 favourite, who showed up well when fifth on her debut at the Curragh a fortnight ago.
When Roche pressed the button over a furlong out, Bobbi Grace soon put the race to bed, and while F it For The Job ran on for second, he was no match for the winner, who crossed the line four and a quarter lengths in front.
Roche said: "She is very nice and she should have no problem getting black type.
"She was doing everything so easy. She was always travelling and I thought we were only hacking. I think she should come on well from that and six furlongs should be her trip."
Teoleena could be called the winner of the Country And Western Evening Claiming Stakes from a long way out.
Travelling very easily for Kevin Manning on the home straight, Jim Bolger's 4/6 favourite swept to the lead over a furlong out and went on to beat Love The Feeling by three and a half lengths.
Manning said: "It was a middling contest and she was entitled to do that. She handles that ground."
