Europe among Queen Mother 10

Sizing Europe has been left in the Queen Mother Champion Chase
Sizing Europe has been left in the Queen Mother Champion Chase

Sizing Europe and Realt Dubh are Ireland's representatives among a list of 10 for the Sportingbet Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday.

Both hold entries in other races, though, with Henry De Bromhead yet to decide whether this test or the Ryanair Chase will be the option for the 2011 Champion Chase hero, while Realt Dubh also holds an entry in the Grand Annual on the final day of the Prestbury Park jamboree.

Connections of Mail De Bievre have paid £17,500 to add him to the race, while Nicky Henderson's Sprinter Sacre likely to be a very hot favourite.

Unbeaten in seven chase starts to date, he is considered by many to be a Festival banker after winning the Tingle Creek and Victor Chandler Chases on his only two starts this term.

Last year's winner Finian's Rainbow is also still in the hunt for Henderson, while Cue Card is in a similar situation to Sizing Europe as he could take in either this race or the longer Ryanair Chase.

Paul Nicholls' Sanctuaire was well beaten in the Tingle Creek but he could try his luck against Sprinter Sacre once again, while Somersby is set to represent Mick Channon.

The Philip Hobbs-trained Wishfull Thinking and Richard Rowe's Tataniano complete the list of possible runners.
