Fortria return on cards for Star

Flemenstar could have his first run for Tony Martin in the Fortria Chase at Navan which he won last year.

The County Meath handler has only had the talented eight-year-old a few weeks after owner Stephen Curran moved him from Peter Casey's stable, but he believes Flemenstar to have settled in well and is targeting the Grade Two contest over two miles on November 10 as the starting point.

"We're very pleased with him. We haven't had him that long, but he seems a nice horse and he's done everything we've asked of him," Martin told At The Races.

"Andrew Lynch has sat up on him a few times and hopefully between him and the owner they will guide me in the right direction.

"More than likely he'll go to Navan in November for the Fortria he won last year. I'd say that would be where he'd start."
