Freddie Head's wonder-mare Goldikova is set to make her first visit to Royal Ascot this season.
The five-year-old signed off her 2009 campaign with a second triumph in the Breeders' Cup Mile at Santa Anita, the seventh Group One sucess of her career in total.
She disappointed in the Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp last year but is set to use the same contest later this month in preparation for her trip to Britain.
“She's had a very good winter at her owner's stud farm and she came back a month and a half ago and she's really well,” Head said.
“We want to go and run in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot with her and I think we need a run before that, so the Prix d'Ispahan is a good race for her to come back in. We'll forget about last year as the going was terrible that day and she didn't like it.
“If the going is as bad then we won't run, but at the moment the plan is to run in the race.
“I think it's a great thing to run her at Royal Ascot and I think it's a race she will like as she'll love the straight course.”
Meanwhile, Royal Ascot beckons for the rejuvenated Spirit Of Sharjah following his Listed success at Leicester on Saturday.
Julia Feilden's five-year-old galloped from out of the doldrums to record back-to-back victories at the weekend, having struck at Lingfield earlier this month.
