Hill out of Irish Derby

Kingston Hill has been declared a non-runner for this afternoon's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh.

Trainer Roger Varian decided against running the Epsom Derby runner-up due to the prospect of fast ground.

The news saw Epsom hero Australia shorten considerably in price for what is now a five-runner affair, with Geoffrey Chaucer also a non-runner.
