Jet Setting is to head straight for the Coolmore Fastnet Rock Matron Stakes at Leopardstown next month after trainer Adrian Keatley decided to skip a possible engagement at Tipperary on Thursday.

The County Kildare handler decided to play safe and not declare the Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine for the Coolmore Stud Fairy Bridge Stakes after several of his string have shown signs of a virus.

Keatley reports Jet Setting not to be affected, but has decided to wait to run her in the Group One on Irish Champions Weekend.

"We're going to go straight to the Matron with her," he said.

"There's no problem with her, but the last few runners I had - a couple last weekend and one the week before - came home showing little signs of a bit of a virus.

"We're doing tests at the moment and I want to make sure everything is right before I run any more horses.

"She's 100 per cent. The Fairy Bridge wasn't in the long-term plans, but it was an early-closing entry so we had to enter.

"She's a very clear-winded filly and we won't have any issues going straight to the Matron."
