Lyons looking towards Royal Ascot

Ger Lyons is putting together a strong squad for Royal Ascot next week.

Lyons last tasted success at the meeting when Elletelle won the Queen Mary back in 2007.

His unbeaten juvenile Cappella Sansevero will be heading up the team with some older handicappers offering strong support.

Lyons said: "I'm leaning towards the Coventry Stakes with Cappella Sansevero. Third Dimension could go for the Britannia, while Fog Of War will probably go for a handicap.

"Machete Mark will go for the Buckingham Palace or the Hunt Cup. If we come out with a winner at Royal Ascot we will be delighted as it is our Olympics.

"The horses are fit and well and long may it continue."
