O'Brien aims high with Hounds
Master Of Hounds will go for either the Qipco 2000 Guineas or the Kentucky Derby following his gallant effort in the UAE Derby.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt was touched off by a nose by Khawlah in the 10-furlong Group Two contest on Saturday to earn the right to go for even bigger prizes.
Cape Blanco, who was only beaten a length when fourth in the Dubai World Cup on the same Meydan card, could next go for the Singapore Airlines International Cup in May.
"Cape Blanco would have a Singapore option. Master Of Hounds is in the English 2000 Guineas and would have a Kentucky Derby option," O`Brien told At The Races.
"We will see how they are and the next couple of weeks will tell us a lot.
"The Kentucky Derby is a great race. He handled the surface well out in Dubai and he's a horse that has tactical speed and we were delighted with his run.
"I'm sure the race will be considered and will be spoken about."
