This afternoon's meeting at Punchestown goes ahead as planned after the track passed a morning inspection.

Officials called an 8am precautionary check due to the threat of rain, but that look showed the track to be fit for action.

The going is reported to be heavy, with the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase the feature event of the day.
