Shark's Adarenna has enough bite to triumph

By Ashley Iveson

Shark Hanlon's Irish challenger Adarenna can record a second win at Towcester in the EBF/TBA Mares' Handicap Chase.

The five-year-old is 7lb higher than when scoring here in November. She was predictably outclassed in a Grade Three at Limerick after that.

Returning to handicap company, she should go close.

Wonder Of Dubai looks the one to be on in the Racing UK Profits Returned To Racing Maiden Auction Stakes at Redcar.

The three-year-old son of So You Think offered little encouragement on his first competitive appearance at Chelmsford last November, but subsequently left Jamie Osborne to join Michael Bell's team and it seems to have had the desired effect judging on his first start for the master of Fitzroy House.

He had his own way out in front at Lingfield in late March, but boxed on well to finish second, and he will not need to raise his game much to make his presence felt at this level.

Classical Times should prove a cut above her rivals in the Watch Racing UK Today Just £10 Maiden Fillies' Stakes.

The daughter of Lawman shaped with abundant promise on her racecourse introduction at Haydock last October, picking up minor honours in third from a tricky draw.

It is perhaps a measure of the regard in which she is held that trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam decided to throw her in at the deep end in the Listed Bosra Sham Stakes at Newbury on her final juvenile appearance, and she was far from disgraced in finishing fifth behind Spiritual Lady.

She has far less on her plate as she makes her comeback and, assuming she is fit enough after an absence of just over five months, should be very hard to beat.

Sebastian's Wish can make it two from two since joining handler Keith Dalgleish in the Racing UK In HD Handicap at Musselburgh.

There was a lot to like about the way he knuckled down when making a successful start for his new trainer at Wolverhampton back in January and a 3lb hike is not unfair for his return to the grass.

The booking of top class Joe Fanning can only be seen as a positive.
