Waterlogged Clonmel called off

Wednesday's rearranged jumps fixture at Clonmel was cancelled due to a waterlogged track.

Course officials made the decision to draw stumps after an early-morning inspection at the Powerstown Park circuit.

The eight-race card was due to feature the Grade Three Kerry Group Stayers Novice Hurdle, transferred from Cork after that was lost to the weather, over three miles.

Horse Racing Ireland has announced the meeting will be rescheduled on Tuesday, December 22.

It will close for fresh entries by 12 noon on Thursday, with declarations to run to be made by 10am on Monday.

The Kerry Group Stayers Novice Hurdle will now be run at Fairyhouse as an eighth race at this Saturday's fixture. This race reverts back to entries with weights stage with fresh declarations to run to be made by 10am on Friday.
