Big Zeb is to begin the new campaign by bidding to win the Fortria Chase for the fourth year running at Navan on November 11.
While trainer Colm Murphy admits the 2010 Queen Mother Champion Chase hero may not quite be the force of old, he sees no reason to call time on the talented two-miler's career just yet.
"He's going for the Fortria at Navan. It's been a lucky race for him," County Wexford-based Murphy told At The Races.
"I wanted to get a run into him beforehand, but that's not going to happen so it's likely we are going to start there again.
"There are no expectations and this is bonus time with him. He seems really well in himself.
"Until he tells us otherwise we will keep him going. He's not as good as he was, but if he's lucky he could still win a lot of prize money."
