The climax of the World Rally Championships - Rally Ireland - generated up
to £45m in spending by spectators in Northern Ireland and border counties
last year, it was revealed yesterday.
Ireland's foray into the World Rally Championship came to a successful
conclusion yesterday when Frenchman Sebastien Loeb and his co-driver Daniel
Elena took the top honours.
