Agulla extends Bath stay

Bath's Argentina international wing Horacio Agulla has extended his contract with the Aviva Premiership club.

Agulla, who is currently in Argentina preparing for the forthcoming Rugby Championship, joined Bath from Leicester last season and scored six tries in 13 Premiership starts.

"I love playing for Bath and I think the environment is perfect for a player who wants to get better. I look forward to getting back there and joining a really exciting squad," Agulla said.

When Agulla returns from Argentina duty, he will join an exciting Bath back division that includes new recruits Gavin Henson, Jonathan Joseph, George Ford and Anthony Watson plus England internationals Kyle Eastmond, Nick Abendanon and Matt Banahan.

Bath head coach Gary Gold added: "Ringo (Agulla) is a top-class player and a great bloke to have in our squad. He helps the youngsters, he adds to the culture of the place and, most importantly, he delivers time and again on the field. We are very happy to have extended his deal."
