Azam gets Toulon coaching job

Former Gloucester prop Olivier Azam has been appointed forwards coach at Toulon.

Azam, 36, was released by the Cherry and Whites at the end of last season after playing 239 games in two spells for the Kingsholm club.

Toulon confirmed his appointment along with the signing of Castres scrum-half Sebastien Tillous-Borde and the return of Australian wing Luke Rooney from the Melbourne Rebels.

The former rugby league star spent two seasons at Toulon before joining the Rebels last summer, when his proposed transfer to Worcester fell through.
