Ben Toolis to start for Edinburgh against Scarlets

Ben Toolis will start for Edinburgh in their Guinness Pro12 tie with Scarlets.

After being left out of Scotland's 23-man squad for the RBS 6 Nations game against Wales in Cardiff, the lock has been given the opportunity to play in nearby Llanelli on Friday night.

Damien Hoyland returns from injury on the right wing while Sam Beard is back at inside centre in place of the injured Andries Strauss and Chris Dean.

Head coach Alan Solomons said: "The Scarlets at home are always incredibly tough and we will need to improve considerably from our Cardiff performance to get a result."
