Bernard Foley ran the show as he guided Waratahs to their third straight Super Rugby win thanks to a comfortable 21-6 victory over Cheetahs at the Allianz Stadium.

The Australian fly-half scored 16 points, including a try, three penalties and a conversion, and also had a hand in Reece Robinson's opening try. Israel Folau was denied a bonus-point winning try in the last minute due to a forward pass in the build-up.

In a match that contributed little going forward for the visitors, the South African side could only get on the scoreboard from two Fred Zeilinga penalties as they fell to their third successive league defeat.
