A first-half hat-trick from wing Tom Biggs helped Bath secure a home LV= Cup semi-final against Leicester after a comfortable 31-3 victory over a weakened Exeter at Sandy Park.

The visitors top Pool 1 of the competition and the result of the Newport-Gwent Dragons game against Saracens, which fell victim to the weather on Friday night, is now irrelevant.

Ollie Woodburn and Josh Ovens crossed after the break for the visitors with a penalty from Myles Dorrian all Exeter could manage.
