Bonus-point success for Quins

Harlequins got their season up and running with an emphatic 40-13 bonus-point victory over Exeter at the Twickenham Stoop.

Former New Zealand fly-half Nick Evans kicked 20 points, while Nick Easter, Gonzalo Camacho and Tom Guest touched down for the hosts. Quins were also awarded a penalty try.

Referee Sean Davey showed yellow cards to Exeter scrum-half Aidan Thomas and lock James Hanks, one exactly 10 minutes after the other, which meant the visitors played a quarter of a game a man short. Their points came from Gareth Steenson's two penalties and a Mark Foster try, with Ryan Davis adding the extras.
