Braidmen's new sponsorship will go down a treat

Ballymena Rugby Club have landed a shirt sponsorship deal with nearby Galgorm Resort & Spa.

The luxury hotel, on the outskirts of the Co Antrim town, will back the club's 1st & 2nd XV teams for the next three years.

"When we heard about this exciting opportunity to support our local rugby club we were delighted to come on board as principal sponsor," said Paul Smyth, Operations Director of Galgorm.

"Ballymena RFC strives for excellence making it a perfect match for Galgorm Resort & Spa.

"The management at Galgorm is really excited about this partnership as it further cements our commitment to the local community and Ballymena as a whole."

Ballymena's 1st XV have made a great start to the season with four wins out of four in Division 2A of the All-Ireland League

Derek Montgomery, Marketing Director of Ballymena Rugby Club welcomed the new agreement.

"On behalf of everyone at Ballymena RFC, I am delighted to welcome Galgorm Resort & Spa as the club's newest and principal sponsor. This hugely valued partnership is magnificent news and a great vote of confidence in our future focus, our continued hard work and in our sheer determination to succeed," he said.

"Galgorm has a great community ethos, a genuine passion for rugby as well as a strong and dedicated team – qualities which we similarly hold at Ballymena RFC. We are really excited about what we can achieve together."
