Brewer wary of wounded Saracens

Sale Sharks boss Mike Brewer expects to encounter a Saracens team on the rebound in Sunday's Aviva Premiership clash at Vicarage Road.

While Sale could celebrate a comfortable opening weekend win against Newcastle, Saracens came unstuck 33-16 at the hands of Twickenham opponents London Irish.

"Saracens will be hurting," predicted the New Zealander. "I know Brendan Venter (Saracens rugby director) - he's a very proud man. They are going to have that little bit more edge, and their accuracy levels are going to be high."

He continued: "We're going down there with a game-plan, and we think we can beat them. It's about us stopping them playing.

"We need to take a massive step up in the set-piece. If we get a set-piece we can attack from, we can cause them problems. If we don't, then Saracens will beat us."
