The Brumbies will host defending champions Highlanders in the Super Rugby quarter-final after a solid 24-10 victory over Western Force at GIO Stadium.

On the night Wallabies and Brumbies captain Stephen Moore recorded his 163rd appearance in Super Rugby - becoming the most capped Australian Super Rugby player of all time - centres Matt Toomua and Tevita Kuridrani went over before a strong scrum saw them earn a penalty try in the first half.

Ben Tapuai grabbed the only try for Force as the Brumbies led 24-10 at half-time. The win saw Stephen Larkham's side go top of the Australian conference to book a home quarter-final next Friday.
