Brumbies too strong for Rebels

The Brumbies secured their place in the Super Rugby play-offs with an emphatic 39-17 win over the Melbourne Rebels at Canberra Stadium.

The hosts crossed for six tries - Scott Sio, Clyde Rathbone (two), Henry Speight, Colby Faingaa and Zack Holmes - and produced a dominant second-half display as they ran their visitors ragged to turn a 10-3 half-time lead into an impressive victory.

Tom English and Paul Alo-Emile were the try-scorers for the Rebels.
