Bulls and Sharks share spoils following dramatic finish in Pretoria
The Bulls rescued a late 16-16 draw after a dramatic finish at home to the Sharks in round four of Super Rugby, having squandered an earlier 13-3 lead.
Warrick Gelant's try had been crucial to building that advantage, before the Sharks - inspired by a try in the second half from Willie Le Roux and Joe Pietersen's success with the boot - recovered and led until the final minutes.
Tian Schoeman's 79th-minute penalty brought the Bulls level. There was still time for the Sharks to win a further penalty in added time, however, but Pietersen - usually so reliable - produced one of the misses of the season from close range to somehow waste that chance and ensure a draw.
