Bulls continue impressive run by seeing off Reds

The Bulls extended their unbeaten run to four Super Rugby matches after beating the Reds 41-22 in Pretoria.

The Reds took an early lead through wing Chris Feauai-Sautia's try, but the hosts hit back through Marcel van der Merwe and Adriaan Strauss to go 17-8 in front at half-time.

When Lappies Labuschagne raced in to score it looked like the Bulls would run away with it, but a brace from Samu Kerevi put the visitors back in touch at 27-22 down around the hour mark.

Scores from Travis Ismaiel and Piet van Zyl alleviated any worries for the Bulls, but they did not do enough for a bonus point.

Francois Brummer kicked over an impressive 14-point haul for the hosts, while Jake McIntyre added two conversions for the Reds, who also had an unlikely drop goal from flanker Liam Gill.
