Burns agrees new Gloucester deal

Gloucester have announced that fly-half prospect Billy Burns has agreed a new contract with the Aviva Premiership club.

Burns, the younger brother of England international number 10 and current Leicester player Freddie Burns, follows colleagues like Jonny May and Matt Kvesic in agreeing fresh terms at Kingsholm.

"Billy has shown that he has all the attributes to be successful in a cherry and white shirt, and his attitude and application to learn have been top-notch," Gloucester rugby director David Humphreys said.

"We are delighted he has agreed to continue his development as a professional player at Gloucester Rugby.

"He's a bright young talent, and we hope to see him continuing to progress and fulfilling his undoubted talent."
