The Cheetahs ran 14 tries past the hapless Sunwolves on their way to celebrating a comprehensive second win of the Super Rugby season.

Mark Hammett's Japanese side were thoroughly humiliated in Bloemfontein as Torsten Van Jaarsveld, Francois Venter, Uzair Cassiem, Raymond Rhule, Sergeal Petersen (three), Shaun Venter, Hilton Lobberts, Clayton Blommetjies, Paul Schoeman (three) and Jacques Du Toit touched down in a 92-17 rout.

The Sunwolves, who now return home following their three-week tour of South Africa, did restore some credibility in the second half as Derek Carpenter and Mifiposeti Paea dotted down. Tusi Pisi converted both of the visitors' tries with Niel Marais and Fred Zeilinga doing more Cheetahs damage with their boots.
