Connacht in pole position

Connacht got their Amlin Challenge Cup campaign back on track and did Harlequins a favour at the same time by beating Bayonne 16-13 in Galway.

Sean Cronin and Gavin Duffy scored in either half as the Irish club climbed to the top of Pool One at Sportsground.

However, a try from replacement hooker David Roumieu, converted by Jean-Baptiste Peyras, set up a nail-biting climax with the hosts holding on for the win.
