Ulster finished in third place in the Inter-Provincial table after their 21-3 defeat by Leinster with the new champions Connacht clinching the title for the first time.
They dominated the competition with three wins including Saturday's 26-9 success over Munster who finished bottom with two points. They had already accounted for Leinster 20-14 and Ulster 36-12.
The stronger Leinster pack paved the way for the first try when No 8 Eoin Collins crossed for out-half Brian Croke to add the points.
Ulster fought back with a Rory Drysdale penalty after 36 minutes but then conceded a try just before the interval. Ritchie Dunne ran through for Croke to convert and make it 14-3.
Leinster's third try came when Ross Barbour touched down for Croke to again goal.
