Connacht suffer Scarlets defeat

The Scarlets claimed their second consecutive RaboDirect PRO12 bonus-point win as the Welsh region continued their push for a play-off place with a 38-10 home victory over Connacht.

After beating Treviso 34-20 at the same ground a week ago the Scarlets crossed for five tries with Stephen Jones kicking 13 points.

Andrew Fenby, Rhodri Jones, Emyr Phillips, Kieran Murphy and Phil John touched down for the home side, while Ethienne Reynecke scored a late try for Connacht which Miah Nikora converted to add to his earlier penalty.
