Cup setback for Sarries

Saracens' Heineken Cup ambitions all-but died at Vicarage Road as Racing Metro battled back from 8-0 down to win 24-21 in an exciting Pool 2 tie.

For Saracens, this was effectively a must-win game in their bid to qualify from the pool, having lost at Clermont Auvergne and against Leinster at Wembley.

The hosts scored tries in each half through Noah Cato and Brad Barritt, with Owen Farrell booting the rest of their points.

However, Racing were able to clinch the win thanks to touchdowns from Juan Martin Hernandez and Sereli Bobo, and 14 points from Jonathan Wisniewski and Francois Steyn.
