England Saxons have won 32-24 away to South Africa A in Bloemfontein.

Fly-half Danny Cipriani was convincing with both the boot and his creativity, adding three penalties and two conversions to tries from Alec Hepburn, Semesa Rokoduguni, Dan Robson and Ollie Devoto.

They built a half-time lead of 22-10 before the hosts fought back.

Converted tries from Francois Brummer, Piet van Zyl and Sikhumbuzo Notshe narrowed the Saxons' lead to 25-24 in the final 10 minutes, before Devoto's 79th-minute effort secured victory.

The two teams play again next Friday in George.
