Davies earns Blues draw

Gareth Davies' 16-point haul helped Cardiff Blues claim a 26-26 draw against Benetton Treviso in Saturday's RaboDirect PRO12 match at Stadio Comunale di Monigo.

The Blues were leading 20-9 at the break thanks to tries from Chris Czekaj and Robin Copeland before the Italian side launched a comeback which took them into a 26-23 lead with 12 minutes remaining.

Edoardo Gori and Alessandro Zanni were the try-scorers for Treviso, with Mat Berquist matching Davies' achievements with four penalty kicks and two conversions to his name.

However, it was Davies who had the final word as he drew Cardiff level with four minutes left, with neither side able to find the elusive winning score as the clock ticked down.
