Poor discipline cost Jaguares as the Sharks beat them 19-15 in a thrilling Super Rugby game at Growthpoint Kings Park.

The visitors had Rodrigo Baez and Pablo Matera shown yellow cards in the space of three first-half minutes just after the half hour but still scored a try through Santiago Cordero with only 13 players on the pitch.

Jaguares also scored a try through Emiliano Boffelli. Nicolas Sánchez converted that and kicked a penalty before the break. Sharks' points came from a Marcell Coetzee try which was converted by Joe Pietersen who also kicked four penalties.
