Dominant second-half display helps Barrow thrash All Golds

Barrow Raiders scored 36 unanswered second-half points to record a 52-16 victory over University of Gloucestershire All Golds in Kingstone Press League 1.

The All Golds, having scored tries from Brendon Newton, Joe McClean and Emmerson Whittel, were holding their own against the sixth-placed Raiders, who crossed through Cameron Pitman, Andrew Dawson and Chris Hankinson, when they entered half-time at 16-16.

But they failed to score a point in the second half as Pitman scored twice to complete his hat-trick while Shane Toal, Liam Harrison, Mal Wiper and Jamie Dallimore also went over for Barrow.
