Tim Visser is set for an Edinburgh return after his Harlequins team were paired with the Scottish capital club in the European Challenge Cup.

Edinburgh will kick off their attempt to reach the Murrayfield final against Quins, Stade Francais and Romanian champions Timisoara Saracens.

Head coach Alan Solomons said: "We're under no illusions that the presence of Stade Francais and Harlequins makes this one of the toughest pools in the competition and we look forward to the challenges that this presents.

"Although we've never played Harlequins in European competition before, we have obviously played at Twickenham Stoop in recent years, in the final of the Challenge Cup in 2015, and of course Tim Visser, who we know well, is in their squad."
