Edwards, Robinson join London Welsh

London Welsh have made Scarlets prop Peter Edwards and Wasps fly-half Will Robinson their latest signings as they target a rapid return to the Aviva Premiership.

The recruitment of the duo takes the number of new arrivals at the recently-relegated Exiles up to 10, while Justin Burnell has been confirmed as head coach following the departure of Lyn Jones on Friday.

Edwards, 32, joins Welsh after making 40 appearances for the Scarlets, while Robinson, 20, will hope for regular first-team action having made just five appearances for Wasps.

Edwards said: "It is always hard to move on, but this gives me a new and fresh opportunity with a new group of players and a lot of new faces joining London Welsh, plus hopefully the chance to get a bit more rugby every week."
