England prop Henry Thomas extends Bath stay

England international prop Henry Thomas has signed a new contract with Aviva Premiership club Bath.

The west country club confirmed a three-year deal for Thomas, who joined Bath from Sale Sharks in 2014.

The 25-year-old is currently recovering from a knee injury that will sideline him for the rest of this season.

Thomas has won seven caps, making his latest Test match appearance against New Zealand during England's 2014 summer tour.

" Henry is a very talented player, so we are all thrilled he has re-signed with the club," Bath rugby director Todd Blackadder said.

"He has a tremendous skill-set and work ethic, and we can't wait to see him back out on the field doing what he does best when he is ready."
