Ulster romped home to an eight-try Champions Cup win over Oyonnax at Kingspan Stadium this afternoon but must now wait to see if they have done enough to book their place in the European quarter-finals.

Les Kiss's side had wrapped up the four-try bonus by half-time - the scores coming through Rob Herring, Darren Cave, Rory Scholes and Sean Reidy - but pressed home the advantage after the turn in an effort to boost their points difference which could act as a potential try-breaker.

A further four scores followed - Craig Gilroy, Robbie Diack, Ian Humphreys and Jared Payne crossing the whitewash - to see Ulster end their pool on 18 points.

They will now anxiously wait to see how the remainder of the pools conclude and hope for help from Leinster, Bath and Northampton this afternoon before cheering on Leicester, Exeter and Bordeaux tomorrow.
