Five changes for Glasgow

Glasgow Warriors have made five changes to their starting line-up for the penultimate Heineken Cup Pool Six match with London Wasps at Firhill on Sunday.

Scotland centre Max Evans is out with a slight calf strain, so Federico Aramburu will come in, with Colin Shaw and Hefin O'Hare starting on the wings. Alex Dunbar and DTH van der Merwe make way.

With Johnnie Beattie ineligible and playing for associate club Ayr, Richie Vernon will start at openside flanker alongside number eight Ryan Wilson. John Barclay is rested.

The Warriors lost 38-26 at Wasps in October, but head coach Sean Lineen hopes for a strong display at Firhill against the former European champions.

Lineen said: "In the first game away against Wasps we didn't do ourselves justice, especially in defence.

"They have half a dozen British Lions in their team so we'll need to defend well and get the crowd behind us - every team wants to win their home games and our recent loss to Toulouse at Firhill wasn't acceptable.

"Obviously physicality of this match is going to be huge.

"They make you work for every metre and their set-piece is exceptional, with a lot of experienced players, so we're going to have to go into the game with a lot of energy and accuracy, make it difficult for them to defend and get momentum in attack.

"The gain line is going to be a real battle."
