Frazier joins Newcastle

Newcastle have announced the signing of prop Dan Frazier from Championship side Doncaster Knights.

The 22-year-old, who previously played in the Premiership for Harlequins, joins Jordi Pasqualin, Jamie Helleur and Richard Mayhew in agreeing a move to Kingston Park.

Falcons head coach Alan Tait said: "He is a good young kid, and he is hungry to make it at the Premiership level again after getting a bit of a sniff with Harlequins."

He added: "At 6ft 3in he is a good size, and he is a really athletic prop who can offer a lot in the scrum and around the park. He has learnt a lot from getting regular rugby in the Championship, and he feels like he is ready to make the step up."
