George Kruis doubtful for England's Six Nations opener with France
George Kruis' involvement in the RBS 6 Nations is in doubt with the England lock due to see a specialist on Thursday after suffering a knee ligament injury.
Kruis was only given the all-clear to face France last week after recovering from a fractured cheekbone, but was forced to miss training on Tuesday after sustaining the injury.
The 26-year-old second row seems certain to miss England's opening game against France at Twickenham on Saturday, but it is unclear if he will be able to play later in the tournament.
England coach Eddie Jones said: "We'll have to wait and see what the specialist's prognosis is, but we're not ruling him out of the RBS 6 Nations at this stage."
