Giteau gets Baa-Baas honour

Australia's Matt Giteau will lead an all-star line-up for the Barbarians in the MasterCard Trophy match against South Africa at Twickenham on Saturday.

It is Giteau's third appearance in four years for the Barbarians but his first as captain.

Fly-half Giteau, who has tasted victory as a Barbarian against South Africa and New Zealand in the past, will be partnered at half-back by fellow Australian scrum-half Will Genia in a starting line-up which includes six Australians and five All Blacks plus Italy's Salvatore Perugini and Martyn Williams from Wales.

Two uncapped players are also included, New Zealand No.8 Colin Bourke from the Chiefs and Western Province captain and second row Anton van Zyl who will relish the chance of facing his fellow countrymen.

Welsh prop John Yapp is named on the replacements bench.

Giteau said: "This is a great honour and I am deeply grateful to the Barbarians committee for the confidence thay have shown in me."

Replacements: Keven Mealamu (NZ), John Yapp (Wales), Quintin Geldenhuys (It), Daniel Braid (NZ), Andy Ellis (NZ), Stephen Donald (NZ), Seru Rabini (Fij).
