Giteau set for French move
Australia international Matt Giteau has reportedly signed an 18-month deal to play for French side Toulon.
Veteran playmaker Giteau will join the Top 14 outfit after the Rugby World Cup in October, according to a report in the Australian newspaper.
Giteau, capped 91 times for his country, will captain his current club ACT Brumbies in their Super 15 opener against the Chiefs on Saturday and will play out the entire campaign for the Canberra franchise before moving to Europe.
The 28-year-old is set to link up with England fly-half Jonny Wilkinson, former New Zealand prop Carl Hayman and former Western Force team-mate Matt Henjak at Toulon, who are coached by Phillipe Saint-Andre.
