Glasgow edge past Leinster

Sean Lineen's Glasgow young guns pulled off a dramatic 23-19 Magners League victory over a powerful Leinster outfit, with growing confidence and a memorable climax resulting in a home win.

DTH van der Merwe scored the only try of the game for the hosts, with Ruaridh Jackson slotting over three penalties and Duncan Weir a conversion, drop-goal and penalty.

Leinster crossed the whitewash twice through Dominic Ryan and Isaac Ross after Fergus McFadden had booted over two early penalties. Isa Nacewa added a penalty for the Irish side.
